ROS Legacy is a free, fan-made revival of Rules of Survival for Windows PC and Android. Every match drops 100 players onto one battleground that shrinks as the storm zone closes in, and you queue Solo, Duo or Squad.

Where to go next

Download The Windows ZIP, the Android APK and the iOS installer with byte counts, hosts and SHA-256 hashes. Mobile Install the 108 MB APK, then let the game fetch about 3.7 GB of packs. iOS has no App Store build. Account Mirae Labs handles sign-up: the official Register Now button opens mirae-labs.com/register. Release Date Open Beta is the live phase. Official Release is Phase 05 on the roadmap and carries no date. Maps Seven named combat zones, Ghillie Island and Fearless Fiord, which returned in September 2026. Modes Solo, Duo and Squad queues, Ranked Seasons and the Vanguard, Scout and Anchor squad roles.

The match picker in the client offers two maps, Ghillie and The Fiord. Ghillie installs with the game; The Fiord shows a separate download on its map card before you can queue it.

In the original Rules of Survival, Ghillie Island measured 4.8 km × 4.8 km and Fearless Fiord 8 km × 8 km.

Combat zones

Oasis, combat zone 07 on the former official game page

The Windows launch page from Myth Games named seven combat zones: Crash Site, The Slums, Frostfall, Highlands, Dust Quarter, Iron Town and Oasis.

Oasis is a desert zone where holding the waterline before the circle forces contact decides most fights.

Queues and ranked play

1 player Solo One drop, one survivor, no backup.

2 players Duo Pair up and cover each other through every fight.

4 players Squad Teams of four built for full tactical control.

Ladder Ranked Seasons Seasonal rewards and cosmetics, then a leaderboard reset.

What ROS Legacy is

Rules of Survival launched globally in May 2018, reached 230 million players by October 2018 and shut down on 27 June 2022. ROS Legacy brings that battle royale back as a fan project that is not affiliated with or endorsed by NetEase or the original rights holders.

Myth Games ran the first Windows launch: its game page switched from Coming Soon to Play Free Now on 15 August 2026. By 21 September the old ros.mythgames.net address had stopped resolving, roslegacy.net had become the official site, and Mirae Labs was named as author and publisher.

By 25 September the official site had changed Closed Beta to Open Beta and moved the PC download to dl.roslegacy.net/full. The feature list promises Massive Battlegrounds, a Deep Weapon Arsenal with attachments and rarities, the Shrinking Storm Zone, Squad Tactics, Ranked Seasons and Advanced Anti-Cheat.
